Blue Elephant Painting

40 cm (width) x 50 cm (height) x 4 cm (depth)

Elephants are one of my most favorite animals! These gentle giants are the largest land animals, yet, there is something very humbling and calming about them. Despite their huge size, I feel a deep connection with these animals.

Unfortunately, elephant populations have experienced huge decline over the last century due to conflict with human activities. Their biggest threats are ivory tread and habitat loss.

I have painted this African elephant using Bold blue colours which represent the calmness of their nature. The painting has a beautiful texture throughout and has a bright orange color that pops in the area where it hits the light on its trunk. This piece not only represents the gentle calm nature of the elephants but also makes it unique and stunning due to its use of unrealistic colors and textured representation.

Product details:

Medium: mixed media (Acrylic paints and modelling paste)
